Ted Talks

In the first Ted Talk video I watched it started out by focusing on tattoos which was interesting because he talked about how tattoos tell stories. He then linked tattoos to Facebook and other social media sites called them "electronic tattoos". He then brought up how our stuff saves our data from location to even facial recognition and pulled up an example of a photo taken with an iPhone and how the phone just based on the picture was able to tell you who was who. Then he brought up a picture of a bar and focused on one guy saying you could take a picture and get the name of the guy and all his social medias sand find out a bunch of stuff about that person without even saying a word to him. With electronic tattoos they will last much longer than we will and live on forever I would like to tie this to the artist Mac Miller who passed away about a year ago to this day you can still go find all of his stuff and they are even still releasing new music and videos from him that had not been seen yet and the story of Mac just keeps going on and on even though he is not alive anymore. You can even easily find pictures and videos of Mac Miller as a kid and work your way up to the time he died just because of the fact that this stuff is on the internet so even Mac isn't with us anymore people can still tell and retell his story without him being the one to tell it because of all of these "electronic" tattoos. We are all threatened with immortality today because of these tattoos and our stories will continue on long after we are gone.
