Phones have had a very positive and negative effect on my life. I’ve been working in the music industry for 7 years now as both a music consultant and an artist. Having phones has made this job so much easier and convenient because it is so easy to get ahold of people nowadays because we are all connected. It has also made it easier than ever to discover and help develop new talent from all parts of the earth, for example from the comfort of my room I am helping manage a singer from London’s rebranding campaign and helping her redevelop her sound all from my bed room in Cincinnati Ohio. We are more connected than ever in today’s world but that also comes with a heavy price. Being as connected as we are has its downsides without a doubt. As a young kid I was exposed to a lot of cyber bullying through facebook because I had a big dream of making it in the music industry and people attacked me for it.
